Quality assurance
In the world of translators and translations, at SemioticTransfer only selected and verified specialist translators who comply with our high quality standards work on your assignments. Every translator exclusively translates into their mother-tongue and is an expert in their specialist subject, and usually lives in the country and culture of their mother-tongue or of the target language for the assigned translation.
Our in-house teams check and verify every translation on all language levels, starting with the correct grammar and spelling, as well as the correct semiotic significance with respect to the social cultural dimension of the target language, which is especially of great importance in case of marketing texts.
Furthermore, SemioticTransfer puts great emphasis on the care and maintenance of company-specific specialist terminology (terminology management). This also includes the connected use of translation memory systems (translation memory management) which is a very useful quality assurance instrument when the specified usage is clearly defined.
The most important source for quality assurance is, however, a targeted briefing prior to each translation assignment. Before the start of each translation SemioticTransfer, together with you as the customer, analyses the linguistic semiotic targets (target audience, type of text, etc.) of the source text and the target language translation. This is the only way for SemioticTransfer to use suitable resources and to assure the correct transfer of significance with respect to the translation.
Our guideline for quality assurance is „follow the road to success as a team!“. Customer cooperation and initiative are integral elements of the quality assurance at SemioticTransfer.
